Our decaffeinated Farm Brew is our rustic and bold coffee for those drinkers who love the intense taste of a strong coffee without the caffeine. We use only water-processed organic coffees to create this rich and robust blend, which focuses in on classic darker roasted coffee flavors like dark chocolate and sultry smoke. We find this coffee an elegant, rich coffee to drink year-round at any time of day or night, and are proud to offer a fully organic decaf to those for whom sustainable agriculture is at the forefront of their coffee experience.
This coffee is certified USDA Organic, meaning its production did not involve the use of synthetic substances such as most pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers.
I first discovered Irving Farm coffee five years ago on a biking trip that passed through Millerton, NY. The only part of the town that was noteworthy to me was the coffee. I could not believe I was drinking decaf, sure that the server had made a mistake and given me caffeinated coffee instead.
The relationship that began five years ago continues. Though I tried to find less expensive coffee that compared favorably to the Farm Brew, I was unsuccessful in doing so. The expense is justified, in my opinion, and would be for any coffee lover. It is simply the best decaf available.
